Healthcare staffing rebounds as demand strengthens in the second and third quarters

After three years of substantial declines, the US healthcare staffing market has returned to growth. SIA’s US Staffing Industry Forecast: September 2026 Update projects the market will expand 1% this year to $39.0 billion, followed by stronger growth of 3% in 2027 to $40.1 billion
